why do I suddenly have to pay monthly or yearly now to play Sims 4???? I did not need to do that before, and I have already paid for the game Sims 4!! I don't understand and its stupid

If that doesn't help, let me know what country you're in, whether you're using a VPN, and whether you've ever had an EA Play subscription before. But don't buy one now.
