I have a Lenovo ideapad 5 15iil05 and never had troubles with playing the sims 4 (basegame, with lots of mods). A month ago or so I've updated my computer to windows 11 and when I open the sims4 it laggs badly and it's impossible to play. I've tried deleting all the mods and repairing the game but nothing changed. Any tips?
@etaaa_5 There are a number of reasons why installing a new OS might cause Sims 4 to lag, but the timing could be a coincidence as well. Just as a test, please start a new save and let me know whether it lags. Please continue to test with no mods or custom content present.

@etaaa_5 Please provide a dxdiag, as I mentioned earlier. This is not a troubleshooting step but rather a type of system report I can read to look for errors and other problems.

@etaaa_5 Most of the errors in your dxdiag are generic Windows errors, so it's a good idea to run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
Once you've done that, please update your laptop's graphics driver, which is two years old. Lenovo offers a much newer driver for your laptop. You can get it, just the Intel driver and not the Nvidia one, here:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
