@GemmaRosaTeen Sims 4 looks for user data in the local (on your hard drive) version of Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Sometimes the game gets successfully redirected to OneDrive, perhaps if Windows is doing the redirecting automatically, as it often does when free storage on the hard drive is low. But that's not a Sims 4 feature—if the game doesn't find the user data where it's looking, it doesn't load the data.
Is there a reason you want your Mods folder in OneDrive? If your system drive is getting full and you have a secondary drive, you could redirect the entire Sims 4 folder to the second drive using a symbolic link.

@GemmaRosaTeen Do you still have data on your hard drive? Even if you moved files to OneDrive, there still may be copies of some files stored locally.
I'm not sure what you mean by moving Origin to OneDrive though—you can't move an installed program there. Even if the data is copied, the program will still need to be run from your hard drive.

I re-installed Origin to a folder in OneDrive that I named Origin ("Legacy Game Installers") - did that by "Application Settings" then I downloaded the games to another folder on the OneDrive "Origin Games"- I didn't download it (even originally) to a hard drive.

@GemmaRosaTeen Do you have an Origin shortcut on your desktop? If so, please right-click and select "Open file location," then right-click on Origin.exe and select "Properties." Copy the full file path ("Locatin") and paste it into a reply. If you don't have an Origin shortcut, search your computer for "Origin.exe," and post the file location of each one you find. Please do the same for Sims 4, as in, TS4_x64.exe.
