Hey there,
This might be a stretch, but have you tried swapping Windows users to try and download it? I've seen some situations where a damaged Windows Admin User can cause downloads to fail.
That, or just right-click Origin and select "Run as Administrator" and see if that brings up anything.
Usually I find that to be a good step to try with any new software.
