I think I've had it with the "Australia/NZ" tax that EA adds to the Sims as well. It's wearying, especially because the last two patches that have landed have actually broken my game, and I ended up with item numbers both times. So, they are producing a broken game and charging us more for exactly the same thing just because we live here.
They can't have it all ways. It's their right to charge that much, but it doesn't mean I'm prepared to pay it. Which is bad for EA because I've been a Simmer since Sims 1 days, and I've kind've had enough. - Anonymous11 years ago
it would be great if you guys could drop the price to 20 or atleast 25 dollars for both aus and nz, alot of us have been loyal customers from the start and alot of us do not have much money to spend on luxries such as games all we ask for is for someone to hear what we are trying to get through we just wanted to be treated fairly🙂

I support Australians and New Zealanders paying the same price (currency exchange rates applied) as the USA.

New Zealand sales tax is not 50% so why are we are paying 50% more than Americans?
- Anonymous11 years agoI wish EA would stop pretending that they don't know what is exactly going on. Very disappointed EA in how you've handled the pricing issue for Australia and New Zealand. The price is still $10 higher than it has to be. I'm sure there's consumer affairs in NZ that might be able to help you guys.

Thank you so much Ea_David for taking the time to let us know its not really your area, we appreciate atleast some fom of feedback 😉 As for the kiwis I am going to be trying my best to somehow get the number of ea headoffice distribution here by us, they are not listed and even google came up with nothing, wish me luck :D

I have hit a dead end ☹️ There is no ea nz distribution, they are in Aussie, I can not contact them here by us. Sorry all, I have let you down ☹️

Where abouts are they in Australia? Maybe someone over here can help out.

No idea Jerseyycow, it seems to be a secret, the only phone number and emails I can get from here and there is the ea technical help or game advisors, and I have spoken to both and they say its not their area but then they can not give me the numbers or emails of distributors. I don't know if you at Aussie would have more luck getting a hold of them, but I tried from here and well I kind of gave up, I have really tried, but feel defeated right now. I wanted to help all my fellow kiwis out and atleast get an explanation for why we pay more and perhaps if we are lucky get a price drop, but I am running around in circles now, so no idea what to do next.

I found this:
EA Games head office:
Electronic Arts
(07) 5561 2828
Level 8/ 42 Marine Pde
Southport QLD 4215Probably ask for their sales/distribution dept.
I'll give it a go when I get home from work, hopefully they'll still be open.
(Everyone start calling. Dodge this, EA. We know where you live now...)
