Why my sim does push ups?...and also other things too.

They always does push-ups, play with their phones, play with clay, books appear in their inventory, they stop cooking or doing homework to talk to other sims. Other sims always come to my sim to talk! I thought maybe it's because of N.A.P. so I changed it! Nope! Still happening. I disabled all the options for Eco Lifestyle! Nope! Still happening. If it would happen once in a while I wouldn't really mind but it happens ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME! What the hell is going on with this game?!

    @hiranurtekinsems

    Push-ups are normal if they have the active trait. It is normal to socialize when doing somethings such as Homework and Cooking. Yes it takes a little longer but on the plus side their social meter goes up as does their friendship. The Books and the clay is because of two different NAPs. I recommend you read the description of each NAP to see what it does and repeal those you do not like and enact those you do like.

  • @jpkarlsen They don't have the active trait. I canceled everything about eco lifestyle. But books and clay still shows up in their inventory. And whenever they try to talk to another sim while cooking or doing homework I used to stop it so they finish it faster. But now they stop anything they're doing to talk or do push ups or playing with computer. I'm not new to the game. I've tried anything possible to stop it. Nothing works!

    Look at what NAPs are enabled. Notice that you need to remove those items from their inventory. Especially with clay if you have some in the inventory they will use it if it is there.

    Also if you are not opposed to using Mods you can try simvasion_ecointeractions_fix that will tone down these interactions. As I can not post a link here you can Google it.

  • @hiranurtekinsemsI’m just a normal person here browsing the ea forums until I saw your post and I have a suggestion. If sims are constantly doing things like push ups and talking and you don’t want them to then you should try turning off autonomy. You can do this in game. Go to the game options, select the three dots in the top right corner, select “gameplay”, (If you are unable to select it that means you have to load into a save file first. You can’t be on the main menu). After that the first thing you should see under gameplay is autonomy. If you select the drop down menu you can choose between “full” and “off”. You can keep this on full if you still want the rest of the household to do things with free will. What I suggest you should to is check “disable autonomy for selected sim”. This means that the sim that you are currently controlling will stop doing random actions as long as they stay selected. They will only do things that you tell them to. Sometimes the talking still happens on occasion with this setting but it should be reduced. If you want full control over the entire household though then you can select “off” for autonomy. All the sims in the household will stop doing things at free will. The only problem with this though is that if you have a bigger household it can be a little difficult to make sure all of their needs are fulfilled since they will stop taking care of Their needs by them self unless a specific need is all the way down to red. Then they will go take care of that but that’s pretty much it. If any of this is confusing you can let me know and I will try to make myself more clear. I don’t know how to fix the clay showing up in the inventory though. I don’t like that this happens ether. On the bright side you can just keep selling all the clay for extra money. Same with the future cubes. If you are having books in the inventory then it’s probably because the sims are not putting them back in the bookcase when they are done and instead putting them in their inventory. I know, it’s very annoying.
