Why put earrings and unwanted tattoos on my male sims?

 I  go to all the trouble to create my sims the way that  I  want them to be, only to find that once in the game they have been adorned with girlish earrings and massive tattoos! I take a dim view of this high-handed practice. If  I  wanted to use my sim males as billboards,  I 'd select the tattoos myself. Same with the earrings. I create my guys without earrings, only to find them wearing ugly baubles. These are added to club uniforms,so  I  can not get rid of them. I tried dumping all jewelry to see if the earrings would go too. No go!  Please don't add  junk on to my sims!!! In the meantime, how do  I  correct this problem/  I  really do not want earrings on my guys!!!!!!!
