Will my laptop be capable of running Sims 4 smoothly?

    @BambiBabyxo  I wouldn't say this is an amazing laptop for Sims 4, but it should be good enough for medium-high to high graphics settings with all current packs installed.  That, in turn, seems perfectly reasonable for a 12th birthday present.  If the price is good as well, then it might be a great purchase.  For comparison's sake, you might be able to find equivalent performance for around $350 U.S., and a little better for $450-500; prices are a bit higher elsewhere.  You wouldn't see a large improvement until the entry-level gaming laptops, which tend to start around $650.

    Storage capacity shows up in a number of places, including File Explorer.  Open it and click This PC in the left panel, and you'll see each drive's free and total storage listed below some commonly-used folders.

    If you're happy with this purchase, or the price, then there's no reason to second-guess yourself.  But feel free to ask more questions if you have them.
