Will performance lower after installing another expansion?

I'm just wondering since I have a few packs and want to get discover university, will I see much difference in performance? Will it be that much worse?

I have seen the system requirements but I want to remain playing on ultra settings.

Just don't want it to be too much for my computer.

This should not make a difference as long as your computer and especially the graphics card meets the requirements of the game.

CPU:8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent)

RAM: At least 4 GB RAM (Better 8GB RAM)

VIDEO:128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better, Intel GMA X4500 or better.

    I don't work for EA

  • @fameisforever  Discover University is a demanding pack, and how well your computer will run it depends on your hardware and which other packs you have installed.  So if you list those packs and run a dxdiag, I can give you a better idea of what to expect.

It's hard to say for sure whether you'd notice a performance hit by adding Discover University.  Any added content, even a stuff pack, will add at least a tiny bit to the demands of the game, but mid-range and higher-end gaming PCs should be able to handle the load without any trouble.  On the lower end, you might see a small decrease in performance; whether it bothers you is entirely subjective.

Yeah my laptop is a pretty good one so it's probably going to be fine. Thanks!
