It will run the Sims 4 with all packs at Medium/High settings. I see that it is currently unavailable. If you post your budget and what else it should be used for then I'm sure @puzzlezaddict can give you some suggestions.

  • Thankyou for getting back to me 🙂 , my budget is around £650 max 🙂

@emma_sims196  The laptop you've linked is certainly a good choice for the price, but you can do a lot better for £650.  Do you want a proper gaming laptop?  If so, there aren't many choices in your price range, and most are at least £600, but I can find some decent options.  These should run Sims 4 on a mix of high and ultra graphics settings.  Let me know if you're interested.

For a non-gaming laptop, you could spend significantly less than £650 and still get good performance, but realistically only on medium-high to high graphics settings.  These two have twice the memory and at least twice the storage of the laptop you linked, plus a faster processor and graphics chip:

The second one's only advantage in terms of the internal hardware is that it has twice the storage of the first, but realistically, you wouldn't be able to fill anywhere close to 500 GB if this laptop is just for Sims 4.  Still, it's worth mentioning just to have multiple options.

I checked six different sites and didn't find anything as good for a similar price, but I also limited the search to laptops with 16 GB RAM: it's helpful to have the extra memory, and your budget can accommodate the upgrade.  But let me know if you'd like to see cheaper options with 8 GB.  They probably won't be any cheaper than the one you've linked, but there are plenty of 8 GB RAM/512 GB storage options for £400 or a bit less.

If you have more questions, about the above or in general, please feel free to ask.
