Will this PC handle my Sims 4 gameplay?

Laptop here

(attached the laptop incase someone wants to take a better look)

Looking for a lower priced PC to play the sims 4 on, MAX budget is £900 but would probably prefer to spend under that.

The laptop is an ASUS vivobook 15, intel i7, 16gb ram, 512 ssd, intel iris xe shared graphics card.

I just want to know if this laptop will handle my sims 4 gameplay or will this fry it within a couple of years.

For context:
- I literally only want to use this laptop to play sims as I have a macbook air that I use as my everyday notebook.
- I play the game with all of the EPs, 10 GPs, about 50% of the stuff packs and 50% of the kits.
- I like to play with a lot of heavy mods, i.e mccc, ww, rpo, basemental 💊.
- I strictly use maxis match cc and am unlikely to change from that, mainly hairstyles and some clothes
- Don’t use reshade

Yeah it'll be fine, probably. Vanilla, it'll definitely be able to run medium-high graphics. But since you have a lot mods and CC, I have no idea. I've got an actual gaming PC so I can run 100 FPS on TS regardless. If you really want to make sure that you have the best specs, you might wanna invest in a better graphics card for it. But to be honest, if it were me, I wouldn't buy a laptop specifically for The Sims. As much as I love it, it's not worth it. Whatever version of your Macbook is, it's probably better than this one that you're talking about, unless it's like from 2015 or something.

Thank you! I know it’s definitely a very shallow option to get a laptop just for a game so thank you for not dismissing me straight away - that’s the reason I don’t want to spend a lot on one 😂 My mac is only 8gb ram so as much as the game didn’t fully crash my laptop - the game did crash a lot, and that was without mods so I wouldn’t put it on there again.

  • SilverClawed  Would you like other suggestions?  I can come up with some in the gaming or non-gaming laptop category, whichever you prefer.  And I can try to keep the price down too.

Let me know how much this one costs, for comparison's sake.
