Windows Can Not Locate My Game Please Help

For the past 4 weeks, every time I went to open the EA app to play the Sims 4 it would say that the app is offline and I would need to restart it. I thought it was odd and only thought it to be a one time thing, but then it continued to occur. I just let it go because whatever, at least my game is still working. However, as of just two days ago, when I tried to open the app it would say it was already installed or something like that. I was confused because obviously it's installed, I just played the game the day before. Then, options came up to repair it or launch the app. I simply pressed launch the app and decided to go on with my day because ultimately it still worked despite all the weird popups and messages. Yesterday though, I was getting tired of this happening and decided to look up help. I was advised to delete the EA app and reinstall it, which I did. However, the message continued to appear that the app was already installed. Again, my game still loaded and worked but the message continued to infuriate me. Today, I thought let me just completely start over. I deleted everything to do with the EA app that I may have forgotten to delete previously but it literally still shows that the app is still somehow installed. Though this time when I go to launch the app, it doesn't fully launch the app when I pressed that option, it only showed a loading screen that I knew would not get me anywhere, and trying to repair the app does not work either as it only closes out of itself and does nothing until I try to click on the app again. When I press the EAappinstaller application in my files it says "Windows can not find 'C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Launcher.exe' but I literally don't know where to find the EA Launcher.exe thing. I thought completely deleting it and starting over would reset it but I do not see it in my files anywhere. I don't know what to do and I can't play my game and it's actually making me really frustrated. I have been trying to fix this for maybe 2 hours already and I am getting nowhere. Can someone please help me?

  • @pha3dr4  Please download a fresh copy of the EA App installer and run it.  This should give you the option to repair the App rather than install, which is what you want.

If that doesn't help, try uninstalling the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before reinstalling.

If the App still doesn't work, please post screenshots of any error messages you see.
