Won't save Sim anymore

While the game was open I put new mods in the mods folder and now it won't let me save my Sim anymore. Even if I try to create another Sim, the Save button is just greyed out. How can I fix this issu...

    @AlessaZ96 Please close your game and Origin. Move your mods folder to your desktop (the game will create a fresh file, no worries). Delete the localthumbcache.package file. Run a game repair [ Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ] then restart the game. Once you have confirmed that the game is running correctly you can add the mods back in one at a time to make sure they are working correctly. Don't add them when the game or Origin are open, though. Let us know if that fixes the issue.
