Hi, I've been trying to look for a decent desktop that would run both games and the expansion packs preferably 500 and under but will go to 600 if need be. Would this tower run the games with no issues? And if not what would be a good tower to run these games on?
@SimsConspiracy The computer you linked is a very good system except for the most crucial component, the graphics card. It's not a bad card, but it wouldn't run Sims 3 or Sims 4 (all expansion packs included) on ultra graphics settings. While it would be simple enough to swap out the included Radeon RX 550 for something better, strong enough cards start around $140.
If you're willing to buy a used desktop, there are some better options on Amazon, starting with this one. The processor is a bit weaker than the one you found, and it has only 8 GB RAM, but you could add an identical RAM stick for maybe $40. The Nvidia 1060 in this model would run both Sims games on ultra settings, and would probably run all future Sims 4 packs on ultra as well. The one advantage that this model has over the other two used models below (and the one you saw) is that it has a small solid state drive, so Windows will run faster. Your games would still need to be installed on the large mechanical drive though. The used option from Amazon Warehouse is $511.

The "like new" offering for this one is $557, and it has a slightly stronger graphics card. Its processor is a bit stronger than the one you picked out as well.

As for new computers, the specs won't be as good as above, of course. The cheapest good option I saw that's from a decent brand is this Acer, at $600. It has the same processor as the first option I listed, and the same graphics card as the third one (equivalent to the first one). It also has only 8 GB RAM. But then again, it's new.

Edit: I just saw your second post, and it's not really what you want. The computer doesn't even have a dedicated graphics card. You could certainly add one, but again, that wouldn't be cheap.
