I'll be resetting my pc.
Yes that lot is acting bugged & it's the only one acting as such.
Ever since 2 specific updates tho from Windows, there's been crashes and files missing. So much so Windows 10 update last year is to blame for removing a file within the EA folder, preventing me from being able to load and play Sims 3, it caused issues to my Sims 4 as well. I had to uninstall Sims 3, what was left of it.
I've no doubt Windows is at fault again for messing with something in my EA folder. Last year I wasn't alone for noticing this issue. Microsoft also admitted to an update this year that was removing files it shouldn't have.
Please keep this up as I'll respond what happens after we get the pc reset. I may keep it in Windows 8 and install Origin & Sims 4 back to see what happens and let you know then. We're also going to directly connect the pc, rather than wirelessly to the wifi to help keep it's connection better, we hope, even tho dsl internet out here is spotty.
