Unable to save

Shadowlori1991​  To be clear, you can't save your progress in a new save either?  Is OneDrive syncing the contents of your user folder?  If so, that might be the issue.  Please check whether your Sims 4 folder is inside the OneDrive folder, according to the game.  Here's how to check:

Any new save i try to do is the same thing. I took out one drive about a year ago since it was giving me trouble.

Please also let me know what antivirus you use, or alternately, check it (thoroughly) for any recent actions involving Sims 4 or the EA App.

What do you mean by folder? My folders are in Electronic arts-Sims 4-Mods

I use Bitdefender for the last 10 years and have never had a problem.

Shadowlori1991​  I mean the full file path, as the game lists it, as described in the link I posted.  It would start with a drive letter (probably C), not just "Electronic Arts."

I have been fiddling with the game and it seems any new save I make wont let me save but if I go to some older saves I can save.....

Shadowlori1991​  Okay, the second location is fine and shouldn't cause any issues.  Please check Bitdefender for any recent actions involving Sims 4 (TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, TS4_x64_fpb) or the EA App (EADesktop.exe), and set the relevant exceptions if necessary.  It's possible for an antivirus to flag a game or other app after allowing it if the program updates to work slightly differently.

Please test with your Mods folder removed, at least for now.

If that's not the issue, try playing with your computer offline.  You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.

I did check the bitdefender last night but I didnt see anythng regarding EA or TS4, but ill double check.

I did the offline thing and no internet but it didn't seem to do anything

Some saves I can play just not any new ones which is weird.

There is also this pop up about MC Command Center which i in the right location but I'm confused as why it says "script error has been logged to the mc_cmd_center.log file located in the same folder as the MC Command Center modules."

Ive looked at the discord but I cant find anything about it.

Shadowlori1991​  If you're getting an error from MCCC, you're not testing without mods.  Please remove the entire Mods folder for now.  Since you're testing a new save, it shouldn't matter.  And make sure that you don't still have mod-related files or folders inside the saves folder.

It's also a good idea to repair the game (again) after removing the mods, as at least one popular one is known to make changes to the game's program files.

I will try that again, Im getting help with the MCCC error through Deaderpool now. Ill let you know how it all goes with the mods and saves taken out.
