Recipes not including batter made in a mixer

I’d like to clear up a question regarding something that happened in my game today and see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. I’m trying to make a cake using ingredients prepared in the mixer (specifically the batter), but even though I already have the batter ready in my fridge, the game keeps ignoring it when I go to make cakes or other recipes that require that ingredient. However, I noticed that for the breads, the batter is accounted for normally, and I can make the recipes for these without any issues.

Just to clarify, I'm trying to prepare cakes and recipes from the base game.
