11 years agothe only thing i have running that i would guess is an issue is AVG antivirus. Other than that I am not sure as nothing is running in the back ground.

11 years agoTurn off AVG antivirus and see if it is the same (after reinstalling)? I do have AVG antivirus Freeware, and it never had a problem with TS2-UC.
Another question is, do you have a program that does the system clutter cleaning or not?

My CCleaner looks exactly the same, I don't have any of the executables CCleaner is having issues with but I'm not getting the Sims 2 not installed error. My game is crashing when creating neighborhood files.
Edit: Ok, found out it's ok not to have those executales but you need to keep those registry entries.
