The Sims Medieval Refusing to Download on Mac

I'm so fed up. The EA website stated that the game was playable on Mac, but only when it was downloaded onto the EA app, it claimed it could only be run on Windows. I spent half an hour on the live chat being provided "advice" that was irrelevant to my problems, though I followed it all anyway, just to be told this was a consistent problem? After all of that, they refused my refund request, despite the refund guarantee. 

Is there anyway to play this game on Mac? I'm a student, and I don't have money to waste on unplayable games. Thanks for any advice.

    @fgbad , unless you roll back your OS to Mojave, there is no way to play your game on a Mac running Catalina or higher OS.  You can contact EA Help Support to ask for a refund due to the fact that the game will not run on your Mac. We have asked for EA to update to no longer say it is supported on the Mac OS.

    Thanks for the help. This was a million times more useful than the 45 minutes I spent on live support. Lets hope they update the website soon, though knowing EA...

    omg i wish i saw this before buying it. i was so excited to play it and bought it FOR MAC but it still couldnt even download like you said. i was so confused and thought i bought the wrong version but no i went to the confirmation email and it said pc/mac. what a lie. i am certainly not going all the way back to mojave for one game.

    @cornwille I just bought the game now and had the same problem as op!! Been searching for a solution but no luck. Will ask for a refund.
