@JLBDreamer I think the plumbobs quote is a middle ground to me, but you're right, I could have formulated it better :) I will edit the post to better clarify that it's not mutually exclusive. I'd also love another quote on middle ground. The Plumbob says hers is 80:20 so maybe something with another rate of game vs plot would be nice :)

There is the approach of 100% Game-Driven SimLit, which means writing in observer/documentary style, but there is also a middle ground between game-driven and plot-driven
