Blank background

Hi. I got The Sims Medieval from Origin a few weeks ago. It was working fine for a time. For the last 2 days the environment will not load (All I see is a bit of light or other item but the rest is black). I tried to use origin to repair it with no luck and now have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same problem. The only think I did keep was my save.

Kind of NVM. I started a new game and it all load (background and all). I'll still like a way to get my old game back but I can go back to playing it

@Ellerwind Sorry for the late reply! It could be that the game save has corrupted and cannot be recovered. One thing you could try is repairing the game if you use Origin. if you do use Origin, right click the Sims medieval game tile and select 'Repair'.

@Ellerwind If you kept your saves, you should be able to place the saves back to Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims Medieval\Saves and carry on playing.

Is this not working for you?

  • I think i needed to reword what I put.

I can load Kingdom A (my save game) but I have no background. When I started Kingdom B it was all fine. I had background and was all fine.

I'd like to know the way to fix Kingdom A so I can try to move on with it

  • Sorry for my late replay (the email was in the spam folder). I did a repair to no luck. I'd take it the file is corrupted and I'll just have to move on.

    TYVM for help.
