I bought a digital copy off of Steam, but I've gone through all the same hoops trying to get it to launch... Why are they giving out invalid CD Keys with digital copies wtf... Oh and im on windows 7 btw
@TokeHackChoke Hey, I can see the game added to your Origin account, does it work there, or do you see the same behaviour you see on Steam?
I take it that you're using the product code ending in -CL6S?
Please don't post any codes publicly, btw.
Thank you.

Thank you.@EA_David Yes it is that code, yes it still will not work on Origin. Besides, I would rather play on Steam, as that is where my purchase was made. It is getting on 24 hours of not being able to use a product I have already purchased, and I am starting to really wonder why so many people are getting faulty activation codes when purchasing a product that should be new and unused, as digital products should be, yes?

I'm having the same problem (can't play it in Windows 10, and need to re-download it) - I registered it on sims3.com, but can't find any trace of it in my account there or at Origin. I didn't get an email for it either. I have a valid code from the physical version of the game.
Edit: Alright, my bad - when I restarted the Origin desktop client it was on there, and un-installing and re-installing the game through that appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks to anyone who may have read it!
