Can't install the sims medieval through Origin

Did you register your game before ? Maybe to a different account ? Do they not already show up in my Games on the client ?

And does game is not in your my Games on the Origin client ?

If it's not in your Origin account and you can't redeem your codes, I would contact a game advisor for further help

The disc version does not work on Win 8.1 or Win 10, so you need the download one

Weird advice.Try if you can get another advisor

Give the Game Advisor your code for checking and they can then add the Origin version to your account. 

You need to install the Origin version as said above.

@crinrict I spoke to another member of staff, and they were able to put my games onto origin without a problem. I do have one other issue, and I'm not sure how to go about it. I can play the base game fine, but to install the expansion, I need to install 2.0, even through origin. In origin, it comes up saying I need to install it via the launcher. Considering when I did this, I had to uninstall both games as neither would work, I'm slightly dubious. do you know if updating the game and then playing it though origin will stop it from running as a background process, and let me play the game with the expansion?

You need to uninstall your disc version. Then download and install the base game through Origin. Once that is done, check for updates on Origin to make sure you have the newest. Then download and install pirates and nobles.
