Changing Language causes issues with townies in the sims 1 legacy collection

Hello Everyone.

The issue i am having is actually very old and it is not new to the legacy collection. It does happen in every edition of the game.

i decided to test to see if this still happens in this new edition and i did change the game s language on EA App from US English to UK English.

So basically whenever you change the language to something else, every townie will be named Randy. I think that the game is supposed to rerandomize names but for some reason that randomizer is broken and will name every single sim Randy and every pet will be named Luna  (See attatchments)

I also know what causes this bug. There s an issue in the registry of the game  in which SIMS_LANGUAGE and "Language" RED_DWORD are not cooperating and for this to work properly without causing this bug these two registry entries need to add up and the game seems to forget to change it  (at least that s what i think)

This can be fixed by a normal player without reinstalling the game by using keyboard language indentifier number from Microsoft s website and then modifying the "Language" D WORD acordingly

It would be nice if EA can fix this overall.

I forgot to mention that this way to fix it was available for the sims complete collection but  with legacy the game seems to no longer require the registry.
