Codes don't even work

so frustrating having spent a lot of money buying the sims collection for only a select few of the codes to work. They've re-released sims 2, i have most of the collection but none of the codes work! So i'd have to rebuy them just to play it on the app. Money grabbing at its finest, they aren't very helpful on the chats either which is disappointing.
