Dead before it's even there?

At this point, I'm seriously afraid of this with the way TS4 is going.

Ads. Ads everywhere. 

That's just stopping me from enjoying the game. The though Rene might have even more in games ads scares me. If so sims franchise will indeed be dead to me.
