EA and Microsoft need to get with the program about Windows 8!
I have been purchasing the Sims from the original Sims thru Sims3. I don't know how much I have spent on my nieces since I was informed the other day that they now own all the expansion packs for all three games.( Yes I love them !) Although they have all three, Sims 2 is their favorite.
The girls just recently got a new laptop and desktop with Windows 8 and can't play them due to compatibility issues. I have read every post on many sites to try and fix it but everyone says, "Windows 8 is new and Sims 2 is a older game." B.S.!
How much money have these two companies made hand over fist during the existence to this game/series? One Billion? Five Billion? There is no excuse except for laziness!
I spent twenty-one years as a combat Marine and no one ever handed me a weapon that some newer ammunition didn't work in and sent me out to kill bad guys and that was the Federal Government and we know how stupid they can be.
Bottom line, FIND A FIX! EA alone is into me for I'm sure is well over a thousand dollars and I don't even play the game so I suggest someone get a set of stones and fix the glitch!
If they don't step up to the plate I guess Sims 3 is the last one that I and hopefully many others purchase from EA. Prove to me and many others that your people aren't both greedy and lazy.
