Error message Invalid license reason code =missing dll (d3dx9_31:dll) eror 0x7E

I bought the Sims Medieval yesterday and downloaded it.  Everytime I try to play it, I receive the error message:

Invalid license reason code =missing dll (d3dx9_31:dll) eror 0x7E

I have tried to locate the file, cant find it.  Tried to redownload direct x, but gives me the error message:

a cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted please verify the cryptographic services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid

I checked, cryptographic services are enabled.  Nvidia is up to date, and I have no updates on my computer.  Please Help.

    The files that are missing is ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0)". The link in the other replies no longer works. Hope this helps.

    Watch this video and follow the instructions. It is an easy install fix that takes minutes!

    If you don't want to watch the vid:

    Open EA folder from This PC file C;

    Open EA Games folder

    Click on Sims Medieval folder

    Open folder that says "redist"

    Find DXSETUP, double click and run

    Click finish.

    Open your EA app and play your game!
