I have to say my own Sims I create are my favorites but premade households would have to be the following:
Betty Newbie in The Sims, she was friendly and easy to befriend and have a very lasting relationship with that Sim, unlike the Goths who cursed you out if you called them.
Then there were the Lums..in Makin' Magic. Old man Lum was a favorite. I loved their house. I think I might have loved houses more than Sims back then.
The Berbs, I loved the lady of the house and her blond hair do and her suit. I liked their house, too.
The Charming girl (forgot her name) and her little dog in Pets Unleashed...loved her house, too.
Not in a household but townie in NL in TS2 was Mr. Big (many different names generated in everyone's games). He was a mix of all the personalities and aspirations so he was a lot of fun. He was a fortune Sim but had many, many attributes of all the Sims mixed into one. It was amazing how they gave him all those different personalities rolled into one and the hidden aspiration of Power.
I didn't have any favorites of premades in TS3 at all. But loved some of the homes out in the swampy areas of one of the EPs.
No favorites in TS4, either. But Vlad was probably the most interesting Sim I had seen in TS4 that had some personality.
