Fifa 15(pc) crashing on First loading Screen

Hi there,

I know a lot of people have had this problem but I am now experiencing it too. I have a Windows 8 computer and I want to install all of my Sims 2 packs on it.

Base game installs and works perfectly but I can't install any expansion packs. When I go to insert disk 4, it tries to download objects.package and then it terminates saying that something went wrong.

I am finding it frustrating that thousands of users are unable to play the sims 2 on Windows 8 and have been having this problem for several years and I still can't find a solution for it.

I have been told to try upload and patch it on a Vista computer and move it back to my laptop, but no one has that in my house. I have been also told to try grumpy laoder but it seems that this doesn't exist anymore.

If anyone has a solution, could you please help me out? I am not ready to upgrade to Sims 3, I love my Sims 2 so much.
