Flashing Screen and Black Boxes (Sims 2 UC)

I've been having this issue whenever I've tried to play Sims 2 UC and it's where my screen will just flash when I move the mouse/camera. My sims also have a black box underneath them both in-game and in Create-A-Sim. I have tried making it run on Windows XP because I have a Windows 10 and I know there have been issues running an older game on a newer system.     @officialemma Do you use any mods or custom content? Also this could be an issue with your graphic card driver, so have you tried doing a clean install of those?

    As for the black boxes: Go to graphics settings and change the shadow setting from high to medium. Works for most people.
