It’s time for another weekly Sims highlights! We are only a couple days away from spooky season aka the month October 🍂. Have you started decorating your house for Halloween? 🕸️ This is the perfect excuse to carve a pumpkin 🎃 and try an autumnal recipe such as pumpkin soup 🥘 or like my grandma makes, pumpkin donuts (yes, it's a thing and yes, it's delicious 😋) !


Now, let’s start up those highlights with a round of updates !

• On Tuesday we had a base game update that brought to us new cupcakes 🧁, recipe filtering 📝 and bug fixes🛠️! Have you checked out the new features yet?
  

• On Wednesday we had a Livestream 💻 with Englishsimmer to talk about #HomeChefHustle 🥞 ! You may remember Englishsimmer from the Spark’d reality show. It was really interesting to learn details from the Sims team about how the pack came to life and how to pick names for new furnitures, what types of dishes should be added, how to add new functionalities to existing items... Overall it was very informative and wholesome to watch. Don't worry if you have missed the livestream, you can watch a replay on the EnglishSimmer's Twitch Channel.

• On Thursday, our latest stuff pack Home Chef Hustle 👩‍🍳🍴 officially launched ! Are you ready to grow those cooking skills 🍳, discover delicious recipes 🧇 and feed the neighborhood with the Anywhere Any Fare Food Stand ? Show us talent as a chef and feel free share your screenshots in the thread curated by EA_Cade!
  

It's all a-bat love for those two horsies....., posted Hargrove Family History. That looks already very intriguing. This is just the beginning and there is already so much happening… Family business, mysterious disappearances, rich heirs, looks like we're going to have to keep track of all the family relationships! Gothoholic18 also shared beautiful family portraits 🖼️ of the whole family. Well, I can’t wait to see what the story brings next!

• This week, @nasch_katze is asking us which Sims game did Hotels best🏨 and apparently, I'm the only one so far to have a preference for the hotels from the original The Sims game! My sims back then had lots of fun at Palazzo Palms 🌴 with Marky Sharky, the shark mascot, and the soundtrack was amazing. It seems like most of you prefer the hotels from The Sims 2, so it looks like I'm not the only one taking a trip down memory lane! 🛎️ I did have a soft spot for Takemizu Village back in the days!
  

• In The Sims 3, @CharlieBleu has been creating a world recently and is sharing a picture of her Cat Island 🐈 That sounds promising, I hope we will get more pictures soon! I really like the trees in the background that kinda look like jellyfishes 😍 (I'm sure Jellyfish trees is the real scientific name) and the lighthouse in the distance. But most importantly, where are the cats? We need more pictures with the cats! I'm sure they would love their little island, climb in the little trees, drink at the little pond and have lots of fun. Please CharlieBleu, show us the cats 😄
  

• Next up, @Brd709 wants to know Tiny Modern Cabin! Created for one young adult, one child and a cat, this cabin is ideal for a single sim on a budget who needs all essential amenities and who wants to enjoy the surrounding nature (why do I sound like a real estate agent right now?) There is everything you need with a kitchen & living room, one shared bedroom and an office room, as well as a front yard, front porch, and a back garden with a view on the river. What more do you need? Nothing, if you ask me! Oh, to enjoy a coffee on the balcony looking at the river would be amazing...
