Friday Highlights, September 1st - A Week on The Sims Forums

FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS, SEPT 1st- A WEEK ON THE SIMS FORUMS

Sul sul everyone!

New week! New highlights! 😎

This week is jam-packed, so let's get right to it....

We begin with this picture shared to us this time by @DaniRose2143, to conclude the summer season 🌞 for some of those who have begun school/college. I hope everyone is ready for this new chapter of fun, learning and friends. 🥳

Fun in the sun......, posted here by @DaniRose2143

On the highlights...

  • 🔴 We start with a mega thread that brings different building styles. @OliCait has decided Building Newcrest, where not only shows us the different decoration styles 🎏, but also pays tribute to the different creators who have contributed to the development of these designs 🚧. But if that wasn't enough, @OliCait also shares with us how the decor has been adapted to the needs and personalities of its owners. So if you haven't seen it yet, take a look at this highlight that brings us stories, designs and much more...

  • 🟠 Following, we have a poll delivered to us by @MrPlumbob, who wants to know Where does your sims live?. In other words, Where do you get your houses? Do you make them yourself? Downloaded from the gallery? Furnished? Unfurnished? In my case, I am a complete builder from the ground up 👷‍♀️; I may spend hours constructing, resizing, and designing 📐. But in recent weeks, I've decided to download a "shell house" from the gallery... it's saved me hours, but in my opinion it's not the same 😕. Which option would you go with?

  • 🟡 Next, we have this super sim challenge - starting as a baby showcased by @SoulGal7, who seeks to achieve as many skills, aspirations, and careers as possible in a sim lifetime. Starting with Bailee Maxx's birth, @SoulGal7 would take us on a journey through her father, mother, home, and life before she arrived in this Sims world. The second update has now arrived, so things are getting started... Have you seen the new updates?

  • 🔵 Next up is the tale of Sunset Valley Asylum in The Sims 3 brought to you by @CharlieBleu. This is a slightly spooky story set around 100 years ago (by some accounts). A story that is full of secrecy, experimentation, intriguing histories... as a result of this, new creatures were born in Sunset Valley 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️, and allegedly this new gene would be passed down from generation to generation. Want to know more? I invite you to check out @CharlieBleu's story...

That brings us to the end of this week of highlights, but before I say goodbye I want to take some time because we have a celebration coming up. This Sunday the 2nd of September, who is celebrating their 9th birthday 🤔? I won't say much more, but if you find out who I'm talking about I'd love to read what your favorite memory of our much loved Sims 4 is, uuups I said it 🤭 .... Happy 9th birthday! 🥳🎂
