Nice thread rosemow, as we don't really have an official "introduce yourself" thread. But I notice you never really reveal anything about yourself? I haven't read all 11 pages of this thread yet though.
I've been simming since the year sims 1 came out. I have all 4 editions of sims games plus all EP's, almost all SP's, some of the sims "stories" games, and sims 3 for XBox360. I spent way too much on sims 3 and store stuff and don't even like sims 3 , so I'm being more cautious with my cash with sims 4. Want Outdoor Retreat but haven't gotten it yet. And all of that including tons of cc is installed on this computer.
Sims 2 is my favorite so far though. I use sims as a creative outlet, and also , I think, an escape from RL, same as the internet. I have 2 grown sons, a grandson, and another grandchild on the way. But my daughter-in-law hates me! I have a dog, cat, cockatiels, and fish. The dog is my "baby" and he is a spoiled little you know what.
I have a "real job", and a job at home where the cleaning and housework and day to day chores never end. I'm having issues finding any time for sims these days. I live in Colorado. It's snowing now. Snow snow and more snow and I'm heading off to the store. Nice to meet you all!
Hello @Zorba2002 :) It is nice to meet you. It is nice that you have been simming from the beginning with sims 1, and that you have each of the editions of the game.
Simming is a great way to have a break from the pressures of real life and enjoy using our creativity, as well as have fun watching our sims living their sims lives. It is lovely that you will soon have a new little grandchild. It is a special time for your family. It is great that you enjoy animals and having pets. Dogs are special members of our family household.
I hope that you can keep warm in the cold and snowy weather! I hope that your traveling to the store went okay in the snowy weather and traveling on the roads in the Wintery conditions.
I hope that you will be able to have time to enjoy doing some simming.
