Hello! Come and introduce yourself!

Not trying to bust in on The Official Greeter (@rosemow) But I thought I'd drop a "Welcome!" to those just joining and those who have been lingering behind the scenes --(and those who still might be!)--

I'm not what they would call a "seasoned veteran" either so just poking my nose in this once...

Hi hi! I'm Kyla and I love the Sims! I have only been plying for about a year and a half now but so far I have played TS2,TS3,and TS4.I use the Sims as an escape from my everyday life and to feel in control of something in my life,even so small as deciding which house a sim will live in.I love having somewhere to escape and kind of be crazy old me without everyone judging me.
Other than playing the Sims,I read any chance I get,I draw, try tons of art and crafts,visit museums,travel, and try to learn as much as I can about the world!

Hello @LoveKyBaby :) It is nice to meet you. It is nice that you have been enjoying the different versions of The Sims. They all have great features in them. Simming is a great way to take a break from our everyday life and have fun playing the Sims. It is fun choosing where our sims are going to live. It is also enjoyable building the types of homes and furnishing them how we would like to.
It is great that you enjoy drawing and doing a variety of arts and crafts. You sound a creative and artistic person. It is enjoyable creating art work, and expressing our creativity. Museums contain many great exhibitions, exhibits and art collections to see. It is a great place to enjoy visiting.

Hello, and thanks for the welcome @Miki ! I have been lingering behind the scenes for quite some time actually, and intended to stay that way but then I realized how much I really missed the social side of playing The Sims, and this looks like a nice community :)

@EccentricKittie You're entirely welcome! Take some time, read the various topics and threads therein, and when you find something of interest or have a question, feel free to jump on in.

As I noted above, @rosemow is the owner of this thread and has graciously taken on the role as official greeter.

I just decided to pop in once (now twice) and also extend a welcome to whoever introduces themselves and an invitation to anyone still on the sidelines to give a thought to dropping by, saying "hello" and getting their posting-feet, as it were-- wet.

Other than that I'm just another member who enjoys this game and meeting like-minded individuals.

I work overnights and thought I could drop these friendly notes in case she wasn't around at the time.

Hello @gregarious :) It is nice to meet you. It is nice that your older sister and brother used to play Sims 1, and now you have played sims 3 and are enjoying playing sims 4 now. You are sims playing family! It was great that they handed on their sims 1 games to you, and you then enjoyed playing that version too. I am looking forward to GTW too! The new careers and skills sound great! It will be fun!
