HELP sims medival

I need help? Dhruv from EA Player Help, said I needed to make a post

So I have a Macbook Pro from Early 2015.

I have 2 hardisk in it (Macintosh HD, where the version i macOS Monterey  (12.7.6)) and The other disk is called El Capitan (a much older version of MacOS is on this one.)

I play sims 3 and sims Medieval on the El Capitan, because before you could not play it on new Mac's. I play Medieval on Origin, and I bought the Medieval Deluxe last summer. That means I bought 2 packages in one (The Sims Medieval(TM) Limited Edition + The Sims Medieval™: Pirates & Nobles) It has worked perfectly and I don't have any issues running it.

But when Origin is closing in April, I will need to use the EA-App instead, but that does not support Sims Medieval?? And I tried to download the EA-APP on the new hardisk, but it just says it's unavailable, and can only be played on windows. But when you look it up the game should be available to MAC in the EA-APP.

I Cannot put the link but I will put a screenshot

  • naja078  This is correct, sadly.  The EA App only supports macOS Catalina (10.15) and newer, and Catalina and newer versions of macOS can't run 32-bit apps, including Sims Medieval.  So there's no reason for the EA App to support Medieval—no version of macOS can run both the App and the game.

Since EA rereleased Sims 1 and 2, and created a 64-bit version of Sims 3 for macOS, there's always a possibility that it will adapt Medieval to run in newer OSs as well.  But until then, your only option is to play the game in Windows.

Speaking of which, if you can run El Capitan on your Mac, you can use Boot Camp Assistant to partition the drive and install Windows 10.  That would run Medieval and any other 32-bit game available for Windows.
