Sims Medieval - Alder Lake patch does nothing
I'd really love to play Sims Medieval again, I was sorely disappointed when my new laptop was unable to launch it at all - nothing happens at all when I click "play" in EA. I have tried the Alder Lake patch fix, but to no avail. Please let me know any other technical info that may be of use to anyone able to solve this issue. Playing The Sims Medieval has become quite frustrating due to a persistent issue with saving the game. Each time I attempt to save, I receive an error message about a saving problem. I'm curious if other players are facing this same challenge, but it's clear that this needs urgent attention for improvement. Having to repeatedly redo a story or lose progress is incredibly annoying and undermines the enjoyment of the game. If anything, this game needs a massive upgrade. It is a fantastic game with such amazing stories.A remake of The Medieval Sims
Hello everyone! I wonder if there are those out there who think a remake or an upgrade of The Medieval Sims would be a great Idea. It would be an excellent idea if they could make a better version of the game to make it so fun for medieval theme lovers. Significantly, if they could remake the original sims to better game versions, I'm hoping they can do the same for the medieval one. I'm just pitching the idea out here, hoping it would come true. It might not work out, but it doesn't hurt to pitch in ideas and to say my opinion. I know there could be pros and cons anyone could see, but as someone who's a Sims player and loves medieval games and royal-like role-plays, I think it would be a fantastic idea, especially if there could be different classes in the game. I'm hoping to hear everyone's opinions on this idea. The Sims Medieval won't download, please help
I bought The Sims Medieval recently, and I've been trying to install it on the EA app for the last two days. It starts downloading normally, but everytime the installation reaches 100%, it restarts, without any messages. I searched the internet far and wide for a solution, reinstalled the app, updated my Windows, cleared the app's catche, closed all background programs, deleted all game files, but nothing works. I tried talking to the EA Help chat, but it doesn't work, every time when I fill out the questionaire it redirects me back to the starting page. Please, does anyone have any idea how to fix it? I don't know what to do anymore.Solved106Views0likes2CommentsThe Sims Medieval "Installation verification failure"
Hi all, In a fit of nostalgia I dug up my old physical copy of TS Medieval and redeemed the code in the EA launcher. Installed the game via the launcher since my modern desktop has no cd port and loaded up the game. When I get to the main screen I get an error "Installation verification failure" and it tells me to try reinstalling the game, then it crashed to desktop. Some searching on Google seems to suggest this is an issue of the launcher, that it does not properly install these old games. (I found some posts suggesting TS3 has the same issue) A workaround seems to be installing it using the cd. I do not own cd reader attachment and I do not feel like buying one simply because EA cannot properly install a game via their launcher. No amount of reinstalling or rebooting of the PC, game or EA launcher seems to fix it. Has anyone else faced this issue and how did you fix it?104Views0likes0CommentsI wish the Sims Medieval got another chance
I don't know how many actually know /care about it, but it's got so much potential for a sandbox medieval style Sims game. The original is a quest based game that is really fun, but has so much potential. Any one else things The sims Medieval 2 deserves a chance?9.2KViews1like127CommentsFavourite Screenshot (or Tell Your Tales) - TSM Edition
In the past few days several forum members started playing Sims Medieval again (and the contagion is spreading ;)), so why not have a favourite screenshot thread for TSM? Feel free to throw in interesting storylines and Medieval themed puns ;) I'll start with a pic of dear old Grimmy (in all his glorious Medieval awesomeness ;)) - because, well, the Middle Ages were a lot more dangerous than Willow Creek anno 201610KViews1like131CommentsIs it possible to play Sims medieval on Steam - or any other way!
Is it possible to play Sims Medieval on Steam? Or any other way for that matter - I didn't buy it when it came out (had to choose between that and the latest sims EP/stuff packs) but I now have more budget. And a new laptop, but one with no integral disc drive, and I'm seriously not techno-savvy! Any help would be much appreciated. I don't want to play a pirate version, which is all I've found out about so far.845Views1like9Comments
