Hi! I'm not sure if you sorted it out or not, but in case you haven't or in case anyone else is trying to figure out how, I messaged Origin support for how to do it and it was really easy.
Assuming you have windows 10, find the Sims Medieval file in your computer and delete the whole thing. That's it. That should restart your game completely and you can start again.
If you don't have windows 10, i'm sorry but the Origin chat support was really helpful so they might be able to help you!
