I keep getting an error message for EA Autoun

Hi Everyone,

I was having issues with my Sims 2 disc not launching and a suggestion was to reinstall it. I first uninstalled the games but now everytime I try to install them, I get an error message saying the EA Autorun stopped working and has to close. Has anyone else had this problem or able to think of any solutions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I have an HP PC laptop with Windows 7. Lots of free space on my hard drive.

    Ok, if you dont already have it, i would install service pack 1 update also.

    When running the installer from the disk, run it as an administrator, it could be a permissions error

    Hi Kuro...what about me? I'm running it on XP service pack 2...and it won't load ☹️
