Wait a minute... Did he really say Offline? I only heard him specify single player vs. multiplayer. There is a difference, though many modern kids who live under constant WIFI may not understand it. I'm very curious how any offline game would have a mobile component like they described. I don't know much about computers, but would very much like to hear that.
On the multiplayer vs MMO discussion, EA's Sims 4 has ruined their reputation for producing games that balance between the two. It may have been bad timing, but EA really has to build up its reputation in producing a quality game. Single player should get a major focus, even if they do intend to give it a multiplayer mode. I guess we'll have to wait till later to find out how they've done, because they are sharing next to nothing on it so far.
