Im trying to add the Sims 2 to my origin library
I have the sims 2 and all of the expansion packs. I've had the sims 2 since like 2010 and I now want to add it to my origin library so I can play on my Macbook... On my origin I can see a sims 2 game, but when i click on it it says it's the sims 2 store edition. It says it can only be played on windows, which I don't have anymore. When I did have a windows laptop i tried downloading it but it says in order to download I need to have the the sims 2 base game downloaded.. So, now on my Macbook I've tried to add my sims 2 game to my origin by clicking "add game" in my library and then "redeem product code". I type in my product code and it says that my code has already been redeemed.. I've already chatted with someone from EA to try to help me and they didn't really have any answers... SO PLEASE HELP
@HelenJ1717 , the Mac AppStore has the Sims 2 Super Collection available for purchase and it will run on Catalina as the game has just been updated to run 64 bit instead its original 32 bit format. It think the price is around $20 and it has everything that was ported to the Mac OS up to Bon Voyage.
The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin will only run on the Windows OS. If you have a copy of Windows, you can either Bootcamp your Mac or get a virtual machine program like Parallels to run Windows to allow for you to play the game from Origin.
Happy Simming!
