Is it possible to play Sims medieval on Steam - or any other way!

Is it possible to play Sims Medieval on Steam? Or any other way for that matter - I didn't buy it when it came out (had to choose between that and the latest sims EP/stuff packs) but I now have more ...

I managed to get it to work on EA (formerly Origin) with Power Shell, but I can't put in the testing cheats, so the game isn't as much fun to play right now :(
