I really hope they add a sims 4 medieval expansion pack it was such an amazing. Hoping we get it??
I heard a kit is on its way, but medieval could easily be a whole EP if they added a whole world and a time-travel feature. Instead of cracking the screen on the smartphone during time-travel, (making several of us wish for the old phone back after returning from time travel), the apps displayed on the smartphone in Sims 4 should change: either grey-out the ones that would not work with no cell phone service, and show a new time-travel app, or have a switch between the smartphone and the time-travel device. (The switch also could be useful if travelling to other periods of time later.
Spoiler
Such as the 1970s - when there was no social media, no cell phone service, nor publicly available internet, nor even home computers. (The first home computer was introduced in the late 1970s). Instead of cell phones, there were telephone booths. Or if that scares you, perhaps the 1980s. Only the rich had pagers and cell phone service. Everyone mostly played text games and 8-bit computer games on their home computers and consoles. But the internet was still not publicly available until the late 1980s, and only by dial-up modem. Web pages were all text. And the home computers did not all speak to each other. There were more than 5 different operating systems in common use. TRS-80, Commodore, IBM-PC/DOS, Apple Macintosh, just to name some. (In the early 90s, the operating systems had narrowed down to just PC and Mac, the internet was now publicly available via dial-up services like AOL or various electronic bulletin board systems. But most people only had access to text browsers, and dial-up was too slow to load full-screen pictures, unless you were willing to eat dinner then come back to check the page.) Non-smartphone cellphones began to gain popularity in the 90s.
