For the players who play to games like Star Wars Jedi Survivor, GTA V or Cyberpunk 2077, the realistic style isn't shoking.
Compared to these games , TS4 seems to be "childish" like Minecraft and Fortnite. Many gamers don't the Fortnite style applied to other games like Dragon Age The Veilguard. BioWare promised the next Mass Effect will be have a mature tone and photorealistic visual.

The game is designed for mature players that want realistic effects and shizzle(😒🙄) in their game...in my opinion.
I know one of the creators or the actual creator wanted to design a new sim game that he could play with his kid...so you know.🙂
