Yesterday morning( 3/25/2025) on Steam they announced that mods would not be allowed in the game. Things change fast but I have a bad feeling. We'll just have to wait and see what they allow in this game.
Who's "they", the inZOI devs?!
This is from Kjun, Producer & Director of inZOI in a post today on Steam:
As I mentioned during the Online Showcase, we are committed to making inZOI a highly moddable game. Our first stage of official mod support will launch in May, allowing players to use tools like Maya and Blender to create custom content. But this is only the beginning. Over time, we plan to expand mod support across more areas of the game, so you can customize and enhance your experience in many different ways. With the removal of Denuvo, we hope to foster an even more open environment for modders to create and share unique experiences for other players. (More information on modding will be shared in a separate post.)
Personally I don't really listen to speculation posted by those outside of the development team or other official sources.
who do you think I'm talking about? I read my facts on inzoi's thread(Official page...) on steam. "They" being inzoi.
Personally I get my info straight from the source and you can log into Steam and find out for yourself. Things change fast with this game and the team running the show.
This is where I got my info from "They". No unauthorized modifications to the game. Let's hope they give free reign to modders...but I doubt it. I would love to be so wrong about this. Manipulating or making unauthorized modifications to the game which is done in the sims games(All of the mods in The Sim are unauthorized...not connected to the official game). You can find a mod for almost anything in The Sims. Will Inzoi allow this freedom in their game? You tell me.
Edit: I'm going back in. Not dealing with shizzle here.
