I recently started playing one of the pre-made families in Bliss Bay, the Yoon household. It really feels like a different experience to The Sims. This household is a poor family living in a small apartment and they are struggling to live with each other. I have never played anything like that in the sims, I would assume that you could create something similar in The Sims 4 but everyone is always so happy there.
When Krafton said that they wanted us to really play and experience with life, it feels like they really meant it. It feels like a much more realistic experience here where you can decide how they can change their lives and I can also directly control other zois who are living in the world instantly without loading screens. I think I have only seen people try to recreate this in sims 4 let's plays and even then they have to often cheat with relationships and emotions to get what they want and they can only control their own sims.
This game is fascinating.
