I'm properly excited for Life By You. I'm not someone who goes out searching for news about games so I only learned of its existence today. So far I thought EA's only competition was Dreamlight Valley and Paralives. Dreamlight Valley looks appealing but my two year old Mac doesn't have the right processor so I can't play it just yet and it's going to take some time to order a new custom spec'd machine. That only left Paralives to look forward to. They've already lost me unless they make enormous improvements to the looks of their sim, in particular the 'sims' themselves. It's 2023 guys, flat comic strip drawings won't get it done no matter how good the gameplay is. The fact that the lead on LBY is a former Sims alum is a further selling point. He knows the strengths and weaknesses of The Sims and hopefully how to improve on them.
