My Sims 3 code has ALREADY been used on origin?

So I finally found my Sims 3 base game, and I haven't played it for a while, so I decided to redeem my code on origin. I've double checked, triple checked, I put the exact same code and it's telling me that my code has already been used! I bought this when the Sims 3 came out, through retail and I have empirical proof that it's my game (I have the serial code and CD), so I think I should be able to play the game. It just makes me so mad someone is out there playing my game though, and I would like it back. Is there anyway I could accomplish this? Can Origin give me my game?

@allmywordsfade Please contact an Advisor and they can check the code and see what exactly is going on there:

    1. Click on the following link: http://help.ea.com/ (once there make sure that your country is correctly selected in top left hand corner of Help.EA.com)
    2. Make sure you are logged in (top right corner) and select 'Help with Game'
    3. Find the affected game (if it's an account issue select Origin)
    4. Select 'Contact Us' at the bottom right on the new page
    5. Select your platform and then 'Next'
    6. Select topic from the drop down menus, type in a short description of your issue and select 'Next'.
    7. Select a contact option. Please note that available contact options do depend on your country settings and time of day.

Let us know if you run into any issues with this!

Thank you. I feel so silly because I discovered that my EA account (this one) I started 6 years ago, already added my game onto an account I didn't know existed (I've been using a newer one with other games). Thank you for your help.

@JRuffy18 , here are some things to check before you contact EA Customer Support. Do you have more than one Origin account? If so, check them all. Sims 3 should still be registered on one of them and available for you to download. You only have to purchase and register the game once. After the game is registered, you can download it on up to 5 computers I believe. So, if you had the game before, you should still have it in your Origin account and be able to install it on your new computer. One thing I would check though is how much free space you have on your current computer. Pets and Season are two of the biggest memory hogs in the game requiring a lot processing power to run properly.

If you absolutely cannot find the game on any of your Origin accounts, that would be the time to contact EA Customer Support. They can check your accounts and fix any problems. Please read the following links if you find you need to contact them. The first link relates to the current situation due to Covid-19 and how Customer Support is working:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/IMPT-Support-Options-Update/m-p/8864075#M67484

And here is a link to the actual EA Customer Support page. They are taking phone calls, but only at certain times and certain languages. Please allow time for them to respond back to you.

Hello I have this same issue and was told that there was nothing that could be done when I went through support even though I also have the physical codes and disks.
