National Video Games Day - September 12th

Sul sul, everyone!

Did you know that the first video game was released more than six decades ago? On our side, we have an extensive and fascinating history that extends over 40 years. So many memories, stories, and anecdotes that we wouldn't mean anything without our community. So, what better way to celebrate National Video Game Day than here with you all.

For all of us here at Electronic Arts, video games are much more than simply entertainment; they connect us with friends and family, teach us lessons, inspire us to develop our creativity, challenge us to learn new abilities/skills, and show the value of working together as a team. There is always a game for everyone, no matter their age, culture, or style; in fact, it has become a way of life for many of us.

So, how are you going to celebrate? Do you have anything special planned? As a creature of habit, today I will be taking a break from arguing with a horse, and attempting to domesticate Greg, to explore some of the areas I don't typically visit in The Sims 4. I might spend some time in Newcrest for a change, or even give Merfolk a chance.

  • Happy National Video Games Day! ?️

I've just started gameplay in Chestnut Ridge and I'm loving it! I'm playing on the 64x64 lot and it's taking me a while to decorate my new home. My sim, Juliette has already perfected every plant but she's starting with a new garden for the ranch. Right now it's just Juliette and her horse Domino but more animals will be added soon.

Domino, thinking of Juliette. They're best friends. ?

  • I can't believe on national video game day, I didn't manage to get round to playing! :s
  • Video games give us the perfect excuse to procrastinate on our real life responsibilities (aka adulting).... and that's how I celebrated it.

In fact, I think I'll do more celebrating tonight. B)
