- Mid 30s. I've been here since I first played TS1 at a friend's house. We'd spend hours writing these highly detailed bios for each of our sims and I still remember the horror of watching my (successful) simself dropping dead from playing with the guinea pig too much.

- Dolpow013 years agoNew SpectatorI turned 55 in May, and I was hooked from the minute my niece showed me her "The Sims game." My daughter started there as well. So when Sims 2 came out, I bought the game for her. Turns out it had more appeal for me over the years than my family. I am still playing Sims 2, 3 and 4 whenever I get a chance. I love all of them, they are unique in their own way.
- Simburian3 years agoSeasoned AceI've left the Forum as I think I'm a bit too old for it but popped back to see the latest developments. I'm older that all of you so far and lost interest in playing the "game bit" but still enjoy building the houses. I've just deleted every Sim and house that Maxis made and starting afresh with my own, werewolves included. I'll be turning 80 soon, with brain ok but body creaking a bit! <3
- Kotoisasti3 years agoSeasoned AceI have been around sinse the sims 1.
- I'm in my 60s. Been playing sims since the first iteration and played SimCity before that. Apart from a little competitive gaming between myself and my siblings, my early years (prior to 40) were spent traveling and living a carefree single life. Got married at 40 and found myself living in a new country with no friends and only a computer to keep me company while hubby was working. If it wasn't for The Sims I probably would have packed my bags and moved back to Australia much sooner than I did ;)
- cyncie3 years agoSeasoned AceSo, in this thread we have ages ranging from 13 to a youthful 80. This game seem to have a unique appeal across demographics. That’s something to celebrate, sims team! How many other games can unite such a wide diversity of people? Don’t narrow your focus down unnecessarily, EA.

Gee! Someone here actually older than I am (73). I still like doing all of it, but Sims needs to take its turn as it's only one of many interests and activities. Right now, taking a break from a paper am preparing for a university class. Real one, not Sims. - Behappy1st3 years agoSeasoned AceI'll be 67 in July. I love this game.

Why should kids have all the fun?
In fact I've made a couple of teenage werewolves who are currently having fun checking out the bar and the library. I still haven't got past the first stage yet of enjoying the buildings and scenery. Why Simmers these days want to be in such a hurry to do everything, beats me!
My family are fixing up to celebrate my 80th but I'd rather ignore it! :#
